| In 1985 Deerpark opened the first privately owned pig A.I. station in Ireland and is now the leading station on frozen pig semen. Robert who personally oversees all the freezing was delighted to receive a communication from a large customer in the Philippines who said "We have been using your frozen semen for some time now and as far as the quality is concerned I am very happy. Comparing the activities of your product as against our previous frozen semen importation, our farm technicians rate your product 25% better."
On a return visit to judge in Capetown Robert was very pleased to learn that the top priced Large White boar and the top priced Landrace gilt in South Africa were both directly descended from frozen semen from Deerpark.
